Basic Courses for Operators
Getinge Academy’s basic courses for operators are aimed at anyone who works with the process of reducing infections. The courses also target those who work with medical devices for decontamination, e.g. flusher disinfectors, washer disinfectors and sterilizers. In other words, everyone from healthcare nurses and assistant nurses to operation managers, hygiene managers, process technicians and sales and marketing staff will find our courses highly relevant.
The main course objective is to provide basic knowledge in product functionality as well as an increased understanding of the possibilities and limitations of the disinfection and sterilization processes.

Basic Courses for Technicians
Equipment requires regular maintenance to avoid unnecessary disruption of the disinfection, sterilization or water treatment process. A responsible technician needs to be able to handle everything from daily routine maintenance to trouble shooting and replacing components.
Getinge Academy’s basic courses for technicians are aimed at people who work with servicing and maintenance of Getinge’s disinfectors and/or sterilizers(link to product page). We offer courses in a variety of topics and levels ,so you can choose the right course for your daily needs and knowledge level.

Tailor-made training
In addition to our standard courses, we also provide tailor-made training designed to suit your organization’s level and needs. Content therefore ranges from machine types and programs to staff groups and work assignments.
This type of training is offered on site with your equipment, in temporary class rooms or at any of our Regional Training Centers.
Online training
Distance or a tight schedule could prevent you from physically participating in our instructor led training programs. Online training can then be a way to prepare for future instructor led training activities, but it’s also an efficient way to increase your knowledge in topics that don’t require the presence of our instructors.
Upon completion of our online training, “Getinge Academy on the net” will serve as a crucial and easily accessible source of information for maintaining the level of know-how you have acquired.
